There’s always something happening! Belinda retired in January after 31 years with Calm Animal Care, and our new Practice Manager is Kari Gabriel (Stop by and say hi!)
Then in August we celebrated our 35th anniversary in our characteristic style, treating over 200 of our best friends to marimba music, a catered buffet, prizes and a bouncy castle. We continue to expand our services and our staff to fill the needs of our patients – Visit the Staff page to meet our newest employees.
Some of the most toxic treats to be unleashed on dogs (those awful chicken jerky strips from China) have finally disappeared from the grocery shelves, and our newest concern is the proliferation of products containing the sugar substitute Xylitol, which is even worse. Another issue is the association of Dilated Cardiomyopathy with foods that used to be our favorites ( ! )
